World’s First Artificial Intelligence-Powered Autonomous Ship Sets Sail.

Image
By:  UEU Bot The world's first autonomous ship powered by artificial intelligence has set sail, ushering in a new era of maritime technology. The world’s first artificial intelligence-powered autonomous ship has set sail. The Mayflower Autonomous Ship (MAS) is a fully autonomous research vessel that has been designed to explore the world’s oceans. The ship is equipped with a range of sensors, cameras, and other advanced technologies, allowing it to navigate and explore the ocean on its own. The MAS is the first of its kind, and its maiden voyage will take it from Plymouth, UK to Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. The journey is expected to take around two months and will be monitored by a team of scientists and engineers from around the world. The ship will collect data on the ocean’s environment and use artificial intelligence to analyze the data and make decisions about its route and activities. The MAS is a collaboration between ProMare, a UK-based charity, and IBM, who p

Scientists Develop a New Type of Artificial Skin That Can Feel Pressure.

Image
Scientists from University of Tokyo have developed a new material called “e-skin”. By: UEU BOT Scientists have developed a new type of artificial skin that can feel pressure, temperature, humidity, and even detect light. The new material, called “e-skin,” is made from a combination of organic and inorganic materials, and is said to be more flexible and durable than existing artificial skin. The researchers, from the University of Tokyo, say that the e-skin could be used to create robots that can interact with their environment in a more natural way. For example, it could be used to give robots a sense of touch, allowing them to detect objects and respond to changes in their environment. The e-skin is made up of two layers: an organic layer made of polymers, and an inorganic layer made of metal oxide. The two layers are connected by an array of tiny electrodes. When pressure is applied to the e-skin, the electrodes detect the pressure and send an electrical signal to a compu

Elon Musk has announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence project called Truth-GPT.

Image
This project is being developed by his startup Neuralink, and is intended to rival OpenAI and the recently announced AI project from Google, named Bard. By:  UEU BOT TruthGPT is a text-generating AI that is designed to be more accurate and better able to generate realistic, coherent text than existing AI models. The AI is also designed to be more transparent and understandable than existing models, so that users can better understand how it works and how it makes decisions. In addition, the AI is designed to be more efficient and faster than existing models, so that it can generate text quickly and accurately. Neuralink is currently working on the project and is aiming to have a working version of the AI ready by the end of 2021. It is unclear how much progress has been made so far, but Musk has said that the project is “coming along nicely”. It is likely that TruthGPT will be used in a variety of applications, such as natural language processing, machine translation, and t

AutoFLight sets a new record with Prosperity I, beating Joby Aviation's record from 2021. By:  Can Emir Prosperity I by AeroFlight AeroFlight   Chinese aviation startup,  AutoFlight , has set a new record for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) flights with its latest model, the  Prosperity I .  The Prosperity I has a range of over 150 miles. The aircraft can reach a maximum speed of over 130 mph and carry a payload of over 900 pounds. During the recent record-breaking flight, the Prosperity, I covered a distance of 155.74 miles in 1 hour and 38 minutes. AutoFlight's record-breaking flight with Prosperity I highlights the rapid progress being made in the eVTOL industry. The company's focus on developing efficient electric powertrains and  autonomous flight systems  has enabled it to achieve significant milestones quickly. “This flight is both a great celebratory milestone and a testament to the team's incredible effort and progress in testing and i

Celebration of World Engineers Day.

The main reason why we are celebrating World Engineers Day today, March 4, 2023 By:  UEU bot Engineer's Day is observed in several countries on various dates of the year. On 25 November 2019 , based on a proposal by the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) , UNESCO has proclaimed March 4 as 'UNESCO World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development'. It is celebrated as tribute to the Indian engineer and Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Viswesvaraya (popularly known as Sir MV). The theme of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development 2023 according to UNESCO is "Engineering innovation for a more resilient world" . UNESCO's General Conference proclaimed the 4th March as  World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development during its 40th session in November 2019 (40 C/64) , to raise awareness of the role of engineering in modern life, which is essential to mitigate the impact of climate change and advance sustainable developmen

The C8 Z06 with Z07 package is ready to run with the hypercars. By:  Frank Markus Behold the accessible hypercar:  the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with Z07 package . Leave it to Chevrolet to democratize high performance, making exotic levels of acceleration, braking, and lateral grip affordable to mere hundred-thousandaires, while safely bringing thrilling performance limits to within the grasp of mortal drivers with moderate skills. How exotic are those performance levels? Let's look at the numbers. MotorTrend's Figure-Eight Record-Setter! "Our first crack at a Z06  was our Car-of-the Year-contending Z06 convertible . Relative to that car, this one weighs 88 pounds less, gets lightweight carbon-fiber wheels that shave around 10 pounds of unsprung weight and rotational inertia off each corner, and a major tire upgrade from the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S ZP to the Pilot Sport Cup 2 R ZP. Combined, these changes improve its performance in our racetrack-in-a-bottle f
